Upcoming Events
Federal Wine presents a Beaujolais Wine Dinner!
Monday May 21, beginning at 6:00pm
A seminar featuring 10 wines, and a 3 course meal with an additional glass of regional wine.
$95, reservations available by phone or email.
Journeyman is always on the lookout for more unique events to take part in away from the restaurant. Collaboration is underway with Harvard University’s Food Science Lab, plans are afoot to host dinners with some of our favorite brewers, wine makers, & chefs, and we are always happy to hear proposals for other excellent events.
Private Events
Journeyman is available to host events for small and large groups. For small groups up to 8 people, we ask that you make reservations by phone and let us know what the occasion is. For larger groups, please understand that we will have to alter the way we run the restaurant to accommodate you. We may be able to arrange to close the restaurant for your event, to reserve the restaurant before or after normal service hours, or to prepare a custom menu for your group. We can offer an array of options for food service, from our signature tasting menus for smaller groups, to family-style multi-course feasts, to formal buffet for larger groups.
In addition, with sufficient advance notice, Journeyman can offer a variety of foods to be shared among small groups. These include: porcelet/suckling pig, whole primal cuts of pork, beef, lamb, or veal from one of our favorite providers, whole lobes of foie gras, and other unique preparations.
Outside Events
ICA Boston: Talking Tastes: Diana Kudajarova & Tse Wei Lim
Friday July 20, beginning at 6:30pm
Please join our chef-owners, Diana & Tse Wei at Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art, where they’ll be talking about their culinary perspective, sharing a live cooking demonstration, and offering attendees a taste of Journeyman.
For more information, or to buy tickets, please see the ICA’s event page.
Journeyman is also pleased to be able to participate in fundraising and community events, such as the Union Square Main Streets community events and fairs, RESPOND Inc’s fundraising Gala to support domestic violence survivors and their families, Oldways’ Whole Grains Council awareness program, Bulthaupt’s Chef Dinner Series, New Center’s “Beyond Bubbie’s Kitchen,” and more. We will post here, on the blog, and the mailing list when we will be participating in a festival or fundraiser.
