This is what the space looked like a week ago.
This is what it looked like yesterday.
What happened in between was basically the tale of one man, and his jackhammer.
The crew has just about finished demolition, and will begin framing out the space next week. Plumbing and electrical will come next – those will be doozies. Among other things, we need to get more electricity into the space – if only those people at MIT would hurry up and perfect wireless transmission already.
Now that construction’s started, we feel like we’re well and truly on a clock to opening, which is sort of terrifying. We suspect this is kind of like parenthood – you’re never going to really feel ready.
